According to data from Curinos, mortgage rates for a 30-year fixed-rate loan sit at 7.50%. This means they’re about the same as 7.50% last week. Last month, rates were at 7.67%, putting today’s rates significantly lower and up from 7.01% last year. The 30-year fixed-rate average today is 1.63 percentage points below the 52-week high of 9.13% and 1.87 percentage points higher than the 52-week low of 5.63%.
